EUDR — Fast Path workflows

One-call recipes: set create_audit_trail: true on the upload and the ingestion worker auto-creates the EUDR audit-trail record once the upload finishes processing — no separate POST /audit-trail call. Collapses the flow to upload → poll → report → authorise → submit.

How it works

  1. Upload with create_audit_trail: true and metrics: ["deforestation"] in the same request (the flag 400s without deforestation, since the record must snapshot the signal).
  2. The ingestion task processes as normal; on a successful terminal the worker auto-dispatches the audit-trail create task and stamps its id onto the ingestion task as audit_trail_task_id.
  3. Poll GET /ingestions/{task} for that id, then poll GET /audit-trail/tasks/{audit_task} until it resolves the new record_id.
  4. Export the report at GET /audit-trail/{record}/report.
  5. Authorise the current version, then submit it to EU TRACES via POST /regulations/eudr/dds/{record}/submit and poll the filing task until it completes.

The auto-created record uses the org's default operator and an empty commodity block — fill the commodity in via Update DDS Record before submit.

When to use the fast path

  • Straight-through uploads where one upload == one record.
  • You're happy with the default operator and will set commodity details later.
  • You don't need to split the upload into multiple records or project custom columns.

Reach for the Comprehensive workflows instead when you need explicit control — selecting the create scope (task id or tag), separating into multiple records, or projecting uploaded columns into the report.
